Commercial-grade machine
Not the $200 unit from the hardware store. Ours has the pressure and the flow to lift grime out of the concrete instead of just wetting it down.
North Shore and the Coast
A small local crew doing driveways, decks, paths and patios across the North Shore and out to the Coast.
Not sure if we cover you? Give us a call and we'll see what we can do.
See the difference
That grey-green film is mould and road grime sitting down in the pores of the concrete. A surface cleaner lifts it out in one even pass. No stripes, no missed patches.
Why it comes out even
Most of the difference between a good clean and a patchy one comes down to what's on the end of the hose.
Not the $200 unit from the hardware store. Ours has the pressure and the flow to lift grime out of the concrete instead of just wetting it down.
Two jets spinning inside a shroud at a fixed height. Every square metre gets the same pressure for the same length of time, so the finish comes out even.
The person who answers your message is the person standing on your driveway. No call centre, no subbies, no franchise office in another city.
Not happy with a spot we've missed? Message us within 48 hours and we'll come back and fix it. No charge.
Instant estimate
Pick the option closest to your place and you'll have a ballpark in about five seconds. No forms to fill in first.
We confirm the final price once we've seen photos. Badly soiled or hard to get at areas can run higher. What we quote is what you pay.
What we clean
Our bread and butter. Concrete, exposed aggregate, pavers and brick. The rotary surface cleaner does the main pass, so you get an even finish instead of the zebra stripes a wand leaves behind.
Timber and composite decks. Moss, mould and grime build up in the grain and between the boards, and once a deck goes green it gets genuinely dangerous in the wet. We run decks at a much lower pressure than concrete with a wider fan nozzle, so the muck lifts out without furring up the timber or carving lines into the boards.
Front paths, side accessways and steps. Usually the mouldiest, most slippery concrete on the property, because they sit in the shade and stay damp.
Outdoor living areas, courtyards and pool surrounds. We work around furniture and planters, and keep the spray off the house, the joinery and anything painted.
Send a photo and a rough size. You'll usually have a price back the same day.
Dead simple
Snap your driveway or deck, add a rough size, and send it through the form below. Takes a minute.
We text or email a price back, usually within a day. No pushy follow-ups if it's not for you.
Book a day that suits. You don't need to be home. We just need access to the area and an outdoor tap.
We show up, do the job, and you pay on completion. Cash or bank transfer.
Where we work
We're North Shore based and up the Coast most weeks. These are the suburbs we cover.
Not sure if we cover your area? Just ask. Flick us a message and we'll tell you straight.
Good questions
A standard double driveway is usually two to three hours start to finish. Small single driveways and paths can be done in about an hour. If it hasn't been cleaned in years and the mould is thick, add some time. It may need a pre-treat and a second pass, and we'd rather do that than leave it patchy.
One of the three of us, every time. We don't subcontract and we don't send a crew we haven't trained ourselves. If something's not right, you're talking to the person who did the job, not a call centre.
Not the way we do it. Timber is a lot softer than concrete, so a deck gets a much lower pressure setting and a wider fan nozzle, held further back and kept moving with the grain. That lifts the moss and grime out without furring up the surface.
What damages decks is someone pointing a concrete-pressure jet at soft timber and holding it in one spot. That's what carves lines into boards and raises the grain. It is a genuinely different process to driveway cleaning, not the same job on a different surface.
Older decks with split or rotting boards are the one thing to watch. If we spot any we'll tell you before we start rather than find out the hard way.
No. We just need access to the area and a working outdoor tap. Plenty of people are at work when we come through, so we'll message you when we're done and send a photo. If you'd rather be there to point things out, that's completely fine too.
Not if the pressure is matched to the surface, which is exactly what the surface cleaner is for. It holds a fixed height and spreads the force evenly instead of concentrating it in one spot like a wand held too close.
We dial the pressure down for pavers, tiles and exposed aggregate, and we're careful with older or flaking painted concrete. If the coating is already lifting, pressure washing will find those spots. We'll tell you before we start if we think a surface is risky, rather than discovering it halfway through.
We run off your outdoor tap. That's standard for residential work and it's what keeps the price where it is. The water for a typical driveway costs a couple of dollars. All we need is a tap with decent flow that we can get to.
On completion, by cash or bank transfer. Nothing upfront, no deposit. The price we quote after seeing your photos is the price you pay.
For most Auckland homes, every one to two years keeps on top of it. Shaded, damp or tree-lined driveways green up faster and are better done every year. A sunny, open driveway can often go two years or more. Once it's been done properly the first time, keeping it clean is much easier than that first clean was.
Light rain is fine. The surface is getting soaked anyway. Heavy rain or wind makes it hard to work cleanly, so we'll message you that morning and move you to the next available day. No charge for a reschedule. We'll always give you the call rather than turning up and rushing the job.
